Karen Faris creates complex works that feature the human spirt and its battle for compassion and strength. She works across the artistic spectrum but her one constant is words. She is a poet, writer, performer and is increasingly captivated by the possibilities of theatre. Her performance piece Aliens Like Us was first performed (with Pilar Arthur-Snead) at ArtRage Gallery in Syracuse, NY, November 2017 and has gone on to other venues including the 2019 Rochester Fringe Festival.
