Staff Sergeant Alexandria Mae Gleason-Morrow
Arts Scholarship
The Staff Sergeant Alexandria Mae Gleason-Morrow Arts Scholarship is awarded to two Livingston County High School seniors with plans to continue their studies of the arts into their collegiate careers. This scholarship has always been a part of GVCA’s High School Art Show, but was renamed in honor of the fallen airwoman who was active in her high school arts program and aspired to be a high school art teacher once she had completed her service. We are honored to administer this program and are pleased to announce that the scholarships are $350.00 each. Applications are due April 26, 2024.

Paula Henry
Peace Award
In collaboration with GVCA, Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace will be presenting the Paula Henry Peace award at the Member’s Show to the artist whose artwork most reflects the theme of peace. The Paula Henry Peace Award honors the work and values of our dear friend Paula Henry, who passed away in 2017. Paula was an artist, and a longtime member of both GVCP and GVCA. The winning piece will be selected by judges representing GVCA and GVCP, and will receive a $250 cash award.
