The Scholastic Art Show features student artists from across the Genesee Valley.

The Annual Scholastic Art Show showcases the variety of materials, methods and subjects that students approach in their art classes. The 2021 Scholastic Art Show will feature a variety of digital and traditional media, including drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and and textiles. We will be showing submissions from 12 area schools right here on our website! There will also be a showing of selected pieces that represent the “Best in Show” in categories.

Participating high schools include: Avon, Caledonia-Mumford, Dansville, Geneseo, Lima Christian, Livonia, Mount Morris, Keshequa, Pavilion, Warsaw, Wayland-Cohocton and York Schools.

Two livingston county seniors pursuing the arts will be awarded a scholarship.

The Staff Sergeant Alexandria Mae Gleason-Morrow Arts Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to two Livingston County High School seniors with plans to continue their studies of the arts into their collegiate careers.

This scholarship has been an important part of GVCA's High School Art Show, named in honor of the fallen airwoman who was active in her high school arts program and aspired to be a high school art teacher once she had completed her service. We are honored to administer this program and are pleased to announce that the scholarships are $350.00 each.

Last year’s scholarship recipients were:
Rachel Schofield from York and Kelly Weber from Avon.
