Rules & Regulations

The purpose of the Genesee Valley Fare and Ware Festival is to provide an opportunity for local food, beverage and craft vendors to showcase their items, educate customers about their business, and offer items for sale. Our aim is to offer high quality goods for the general public and celebrate the unique items that come from our area.

Where: Livingston County Campus, MurrAy Hill Drive, Mount Morris, NY 14510

When: Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25 from 11am-5pm

Set-up: Friday, July 23 from 10am-5pm and Saturday, July 24 from 8am-10am

Applications will be accepted through the Submittable database and the application portal will be open as of February 15, 2021. Applications are due April 2nd, 2021. PLEASE, COMPLETE ONLY THE APPLICATION by 4/2/2021, PAYMENT INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO YOU. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY APRIL 16th IF YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED.

Fees: $135.00 for a 10x10 space, $250 for a 10x20 space. Indoor pavilion space will be available on a first come, first serve basis (after acceptance into the Festival) at a rate of $160. Approximately 9 vendors will be able to use the indoor space. Payment is due by Friday, May 14, 2021. A 10% DISCOUNT IS AVAILABLE FOR EARLY PAYMENTS RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, APRIL 30.

Venue Information: All spaces are vehicle accessible for setup, but not all spaces have adjacent parking for the exhibitor. Where there is space adjacent parking available, exhibitors are limited to ONE vehicle or trailer, maximum 20' long.

Food stands, food trucks and public rest rooms are available on the premises.

Camping or overnight residence on the show grounds is prohibited. Lodging in campgrounds at the Park or nearby campgrounds, hotels, or motels is available. Information will be provided to exhibitors accepted into the show.

Insurance: A current Certificate of Insurance is required for all food and beverage vendors naming Genesee Valley Council on the Arts as an additional insured. Certificate of Insurance is required by May 31, 2021.

Requirements: The exhibitor will be responsible to be open during the entire festival. You cannot vacate early. Your booth must be neat, attractive and well-maintained. Signage with visible and clear pricing is required. You are responsible for setting up, maintaining and removing your own booth, merchandise and trash.

The festival will not be cancelled because of rain or other weather events. This is an outdoor event; be prepared for any type of weather. Please ensure that all tents, canopies and pop-ups are secure to withstand the weather.


 

COVID-19: We will strictly follow all of the applicable COVID-19 guidelines that are in place at the time of the event. GVCA reserves the right to cancel the event if deemed necessary by the park and New York State.
