Handel's lively choruses from his opera "Alcina" start the summer of 2022 for FLCF, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, 7:30 PM,  at Hale Auditorium, Roberts Wesleyan College. Pianist Ines Draskovic joins us in the beautifully serene "Eclogue for Piano and Strings," by English composer Gerald Finzi, and the concert concludes with Vivaldi's beloved "Gloria," featuring Luanne Crosby and Sandra Godwin, sopranos; Gabrielle LaBare, alto; and the Finger Lakes Festival Orchestra conducted by Eric Townell. The concert is free of charge. Donations of food, clothing, and personal care items accepted at the door benefit Action for a Better Community.
