New dance-theater pieces that delight and entertain!

Commotion Dance Theater returns to MuCCC with four new dances by creative partners Ruben T. Ornelas and Laurie MacFarlane. These wide-ranging pieces are inspired by music and sound scores, storytelling, and the antics of several unusual characters.

About the Company MacFarlane and Ornelas have been co-conspirators for more than 25 years, most recently presenting and performing as Commotion Dance Theater. Commotion has appeared at MuCCC in the Rochester Fringe Festival annually since 2016, and has also appeared at the Buffalo Infringement Festival and at Writers and Books. MacFarlane and Ornelas are co-founders of the annual Dances at MuCCC Festival.
