On Saturday, June 10th, Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester, INC (GCLER) will host Barranquilla SHOW, an event dedicated to showcasing the dance, and traditions of the second Largest Carnaval in the world during the celebratory the organization will bring from Colombia Natalia De Castro 2023 Carnaval queen from Colombia, from Montreal the Latin Fusion Band Mangozound, and from NYC Stephanie Sandoval Carnaval Barranquilla NY queen. The event will include folkloric dance performances, live music, intricate dresses from Colombia, and a crazy hour (La hora loca is a party-within-the-party).
WHO: Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester, Inc, Latinx Project, Colombia Band Mangozound, Nathalia de Castro 2023 Colombia Barranquilla Queen – along with the help of various visiting Latin artists from Latin America. Anyone interested in Latin American culture is encouraged to attend.

This project intends to promote ongoing exchange and collaboration with emerging artists that support traditional art as well as having Latin dance and music as the core, reflecting a permanent search for expression through different languages and tradition

Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester Inc. is a non‐profit organization celebrating its tenth anniversary. GCLER Latinx project is a group of 5 artists working from July 2022 through June 2024, in Rochester, New York, and rural areas of Western New York. This collaboration will deliver showcases, dance and music classes, and health and percussion workshops in hopes of encouraging pride in the roots of Western New York immigrant and minority communities.
