Dorfman has painted what appears to be a commercial train track, heading away from the viewer of the painting towards a wooded area. A shadow cuts across from the right side of the painting, along with an informal path over the tracks. At first glance, you might feel like there are lines everywhere between the passenger bridge, the rusted steel bridge in front, the train tracks, and the telephone poles in the background. There aren't any vibrant colors; the color brown dominates the composition.
