We haven’t located much reliable information about this artist. His watercolors were exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum’s Tercentenniel in 1936. Along with NDG artist Marion Rites, he illustrated a 1941 WPA reading book entitled Tales of Old New York. Dorfman has 6 works listed at the National Gallery of Art’s Index of American Design.
