Upcoming Classes

Fun and learning await. We offer a wide variety of classes and workshops for adults and children. Check back frequently to see the new offerings!

To register for a class please download the Class Registration Form or call 585-243-6785. Please fill it out as completely as possible and email to info@livingstonarts.org. Our classes require a minimum number of class participants in order to run; therefore your registration must be submitted at least three business days prior to class start.

If the student is under 18, please also submit a copy of this Emergency contact form.

If minimum class size is not met, registrants will be notified and payment refunded.

Livingston Arts members have priority registration during the first two weeks of registration; *members at the Friend of the Arts level and above receive a 5% discount. (Not sure of your level … call us.)

Most classrooms are located on the second floor of the Arts Center. There is no elevator or lift to the second floor. If you require accommodation for this, please notify us upon registration.

Should the Arts Center close due to emergency or inclement weather, we will post a message on our voice mail system and notify WHAM TV-13 and 1180 WHAM (radio).

Yoga Basics and Beyond

**Mixed Levels

For returning students – join us this winter as we return to the basics and beyond of what creates a fun, safe and supportive yoga practice for all levels: Conscious Breathing, Refined Alignment and Balanced Action.

Along with yoga postures (asana) modified to create accessibility for each individuals’ needs; we will continue to explore breathing techniques (pranayamas), visualization (dharana), short meditations (dhyana) and interweave yoga philosophy and life style into each class. Yoga is for every body, mind and heart!

Community Workshops

 

Mold-Making: Saturday, March 10th, 12-3pm

This mold-making workshop will address  2 part molds slip-casting molds, press molds, slump molds, sprig molds and textured slabs- through a series of demonstrations. Students will learn how to prep forms to mold, prepare and pour molds, and utilize and care for molds. This workshop will also provide an overview on the possibilities of mold-making, for both sculptural and functional ceramics.
